Hi Steve,

Many thanks for despatching the product.
I’m sure the switch is fine but require a bit of assistance. I’ve ran continuity tests on all the internal wiring and checked for earth shorts and all checks out ok. Unfortunatley when i introduce the switch to the circuit and turn on the continuity stops. I’ve checked for earth leakage whilst the switch is connected but all seems ok. Any tips or advice would be great as i’m sure you’ve got a lot more experience in this field than i have.

Is the light fitting illuminating?
Has your electrician correctly fitted the earth wires to the holder and has he checked the wiring inside the light fitting?
The scenario you state is one of the most common that we hear and is normally linked to damaged wiring inside the light unit caused by the original transformer ceasing to work.
