Save My Light would like to remind customers that by ticking the four check boxes at checkout means you are agreeing to Save My Light’s Terms and Conditions as well as other key information.
Customers cannot progress to making payment until these boxes have been ticked.
These check boxes are as follows:-
1) Is your address, postcode, telephone number and other personal details correct?
Save My Light receives orders every day where customers personal details are incorrect. IE. phone number, postcode etc.
Save My Light are not mind readers although we do try and decipher mistakes, but we cannot be held responsible for orders that are misdelivered or lost in the post caused by customers failing to check their personal details are correct before submitting their order.
We expect customers to at least give us their correct details so we can process their order smoothly.
Any orders returned to us by Royal Mail due to ‘no such address’ or ‘not recognised’ will incur return postage charges.
2) Have you read and understood the order cut off times as detailed under the News tab?
We regularly receive emails and phone calls from customers asking where their order is when they have missed the cut off time for a next day delivery.
Ordering an item AFTER the cut off time and specifying Royal Mail Special Delivery or Fedex Next Day will NOT under any circumstances be received the next working day.
A Fedex Next Day service does NOT include a Saturday or Sunday delivery.
We ask that customers note this information before submitting their order to ensure they understand the cut off times.
The cut off time for UK Orders and International Orders is 1.30pm GMT.
3) Have you read the Terms and Conditions which can be found using the link at the bottom of the home page?
We expect every customer to have read our Terms and Conditions before ordering as these contain crucial information as well as guidance and advice to ensure a smooth order transition.
4) I understand that all transformers must be fitted by a qualified electrician?
All transformers MUST be fitted by a qualified electrician. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Using a multimeter or probe does not qualify you as an electrician. Unless customers are testing the transformer in accordance with the manufacturer’s testing procedure the readings given from a probe will always be incorrect due to the design of the transformer. This causes the classic lines ‘My transformer is not working’ or ‘I’m getting 0v on the output side’. All transformers are tested before despatch. It is extemely rare for a transformer to arrive faulty.
By ticking these check boxes means you have read and understood the Terms and Conditons as well as our cut off times and advice given.
