More and more retail stores are selling cheaper, smaller LED light fittings which use a constant voltage plug wired directly to the light fitting that are not capable of being dimmed as they were not fitted with an inline dimmer to save costs.
This means the bulb needs to be changed to reduce or increase the brightness.
The HRV1-24-CV24-30W-D-C2 is fitted inline between the LED Driver plug and the light fitting which allows the user to switch on and off and dim the light fitting using the rotary knob on the unit.
The bulb being used must NOT exceed the original LED Driver plug maximum output and the maximum output of the inline dimmer.
This dimmer uses a 12v / 24v input and will NOT work with a 240v input.
