SaveMyLight would like to remind customers of what shipping charges are refunded when goods are returned to us.
Consumer rights say that a refund should include any delivery costs – however, this does NOT include Royal Mail Special Delivery, UPS next day delivery or any other service that is more expensive than the retailer’s standard delivery.
If a customer chooses a more expensive delivery option, the customer must cover that cost.
Our standand Royal Mail delivery service costs £4.69 as of April 2023.
For example: Should a customer choose Royal Mail Special Delivery at £8.15 and the standard delivery cost is £4.69, the difference of £3.46 will not be refunded and must be covered by the customer.
