SaveMyLight is being hit daily with people / Bots registering fake accounts with no purpose.
These accounts are clearly fake email addresses, addresses that have been hacked or addresses that make absolutely no sense.
Our system then tries to send emails to those accounts which ends up blocking our outbound mail server as the system repeatedly tries to send emails for up to 48 hours.
Many of these accounts have offensive body part profile images attached to the account or offensive screen names.
SaveMyLight has removed in excess of 12000 accounts thus clearing over 15GB of data which has actually speeded up the workings of our website.
We are unsure why our little business is being targeted but we are taking action to locate and remove these accounts daily and increasing our spam filter protection.
Should an account be registered without completing all the necessary data required or an account is left dormant or unaccessed then that account will be automatically deleted.
