I just want to say a huge thank you to Steve and David who helped me in a relation to a troublesome light fitting.
Despite my insistence that the transformer sent was faulty it actually turned out to be melted wiring near the bulb holder that was as you described activating the safety cut out in the product.
I have now replaced the wiring, reinstalled the transformer and the unit clicked and auto reset.
Your supplied Guidance Notes are a fantastic read and answer everything a customer could need if they have a problem. The notes are so informative.
I should have taken mor notice of them instead of casually putting them to one side.
Thank you again for your techincal advice as it was spot on.
